With pure hard work, dedication, and a vision to offer something extraordinary, Our founder Mr. Varghese, dreamed of bringing a star-category property to this beautiful region. What started as a small venture soon blossomed into a luxurious retreat—one of the first resorts in the area—becoming a symbol of comfort, hospitality, and elegance. Mr. Varghese’s journey into hospitality began with a deep commitment to healing and wellness. Before establishing the resort, he worked as a rehabilitation center for people with mental disabilities, offering treatments using oils he himself crafted under the guidance of his spiritual mentor, Guruswamy.His quest for spiritual growth led him to spend nearly three years in deep meditation in the Shenbagadevi Forests, refining his mind and spirit. It was during this time that he earned the local name “Swamy,” as a sign of respect for his spiritual journey.Through this combination of hard work, compassion, and spiritual guidance, Mr. Varghese not only built a sanctuary for those in need but also transformed Old Courtallam into the thriving destination it is today.
